Tychem® 10000 provides exceptional chemical barrier protection and is a highly durable fabric, resistant to punctures and tears. It offers at least 30 minutes of barrier protection against 322 challenge chemicals, with no breakthrough observed. Tychem® 10000 is specifically designed to safeguard against toxic, corrosive gases, liquids, and solid chemicals. This high-performance fabric is ideal for industrial, HazMat, and domestic preparedness applications.

• Double-taped seams ensure strong chemical resistance to heavy liquid splashes, with sewn seams covered inside and outside by compatible chemical-resistant material using heat sealing
• Expanded anti-fog faceshield offers a wide 220-degree viewing angle, composed of a three-layer laminate (40 mil PVC/5 mil Teflon™ / 20 mil PVC)
• Rear-entry design keeps the closure away from direct chemical exposure and allows for changing the air bottle on an SCBA without removing the entire garment
• Expanded back to accommodate self-contained air breathing apparatus (SCBA)
• Vapor-tight zipper, extra long for easier donning and doffing, with a storm flap that can be secured with rugged hook and loop material to prevent intrusion at the zipper
• Attached internal gloves made of a five-layer laminate film for broad chemical protection, with butyl gloves offering mechanical durability
• Gloves are attached with a vapor-tight ring and clamp system and are replaceable
• Integrated socks made from garment material
• Flaps designed to cover boot tops to reduce the potential for liquid intrusion
• Two exhaust valves release higher internal pressure while preventing inward leakage of external vapors or particles, with splash covers to prevent liquid intrusion
• Internal adjustable waist belt system for support and improved fit
• Additional barrier material sewn at the knees and taped for added abrasion resistance during kneeling or crawling
• Each suit has a unique serial number and undergoes rigorous testing, including positive air pressure integrity testing per ASTM F1052 at the time of manufacture
