Chemical Permeation:
The chemical resistance of our gloves is tested in accordance with European Standard EN 374-3, which evaluates the resistance of protective gloves to chemicals and microorganisms. Part 3 of this standard determines the level of resistance to chemical permeation.
Breakthrough Time (BTT):
The breakthrough time refers to the number of minutes from the initial contact with a test chemical until it is first detected inside the glove.
Breakthrough Time - Protection Index:
Each chemical tested is classified based on its breakthrough time, with performance levels ranging from 0 to 6.
